Many clients shy away from buying properties that require reform.  I do understand that the thought of managing builders from afar can be daunting.   But it really doesn’t need to be.  They key of course is having reliable builders and a trusted person keeping an eye on them when you are away.  I don’t make recommendations of this kind lightly – but I have builders that I trust, that do the work properly, to high standards and without cutting any corners.

So the first sparks ignited in the house in the evening - some trivial argument that escalated between son and mum. Then brother got involved to side with mum and then dad (me) despite my better judgement got involved to shut them all up!!!  Everyone retreated to their separate spaces to cool off and finally then peace was restored! Have you ever come across a scenario like that, or a variation thereof?!!  If not, wait til you get to day 13 of a lock down!!!
