Today is my grandma’s birthday.
If my memory serves me well, she would have been 113 today! She passed some 25 years ago, but she saw plenty during her life and had to deal with some very tough circumstances as a war widow with two toddlers in tow. I remember her telling me once....
I also wonder what she would have made of us moving to Spain! I bet she would have loved to visit us here.
Over the weekend here in Spain, Sanchez announced that confinement measures would be relaxed for children from 27th April onwards. Further he is proposing, subject to conditions that there will be a ‘cautious and progressive’ de-escalation of the confinement from 11 May. Exactly what that means remains to be seen.
Good news for Andalucia and Costa del Sol is that Juan Manuel Moreno, the Premier, has announced that he will request our region to be among the first to relax the measures in place, given that it has low infection levels.
