It's been a week of mixed emotions on the coast, with the initial disappointment of Malaga province not passing to Phase 1 on Monday 11th and then the week ending on a high with Friday's announcement that Malaga moves to Phase 1 from Monday 18th May.
The additional mobility during the week has been very apparent - there are certainly more cars on the road and the level of ambient noise has increased for sure. More people are venturing out for exercise during their allocated times. The number of local police check points has certainly decreased - perhaps they are moving them to the province borders.
I noticed on Saturday's supermarket visit that social distancing in store rules have been reduced from 2m to 1m. Obviously we are still required to wear gloves and masks, something that has started to feel very normal.
So as on Monday, life within the province will return to a semblance of normality - new normality version 1.1. We will be able to move about freely within the province with no time zone restrictions and with several stores being able to reopen. For property agents we will be able to show and visit properties under strict guidelines.
My week ahead will be an active one: I have properties to video for interested buyers, two local viewings, properties to visit that I keep an eye on for existing clients, a day with a professional photographer who will prepare a virtual walk through on two new beach front listings and at least two rounds of golf!
Hope you have a great week too.
